The development of the Tweaks (Myspace Codes) section began today. This section will consist of all the popular tweaks when it’s finished. A more comprehensive list will be presented in the coming days.
Just finished the layout editor help section to cover the basic topics and questions. Each topic includes step-by-step instructions as well as a video demonstration. You can also submit bug encounters and make suggestions for help topics on this page.
Simple mode is now complete and live, it is the default mode when the editor loads up. You can toggle between simple & advanced mode at anytime. For more information on how to do this view this help topic How to switch to Advanced Mode.
Bug For: Copy Text
Bug Details: When copying text from one box to another, if the source has alignment settings and the destination does not, the alignment settings get carried over resulting in design flaws.
Auto saving remembers your customization preferences while in the editor. If you navigate away, close the browser, or even if your browser crashes, all you need to do is re-open the editor, it will recover your session and let you continue where you left off.
Auto saving triggers every 2 minutes, however you can save anytime by clicking on the auto-save countdown located in the top right corner of the editor.
The auto-save has nothing to do with saving to your profile, if you are trying to save the layout for use on your profile press the ‘Get Layout Code’ on the main toolbar.
To start a new layout… press the ‘Start Over’ button on the main toolbar, a confirmation will appear, once you press OK your session will start over with a fresh blank layout. Pressing ‘Start Over’ will clear your auto-recovery, so once this is pressed there is currently no way to go back to your previous design.
The following bugs have been fixed:
Extended Network Hide Text
Will now properly hide the text.
Border Settings
Setting size or style to the default drop down will now turn them off.
Alignment
Alignment settings removed from objects which yield design flaws.
Navbar / Adbar Image
If an image is set on the adbar but not the navbar, the navbar will no longer inherit the image of the adbar. *scratches head*
The world’s best layout editor is here, well almost, it is currently in the public beta stage. During this stage our primary goal is to detect bugs, so if you find any please let us know by reporting them.
Our editor might be a big change from what your use to, so be sure to take a moment and watch the videos and look over the tutorials before you begin. Remember to let us know if you experience any problems!
